As part of the application process you will be asked to answer these scholarship questions. If you need longer than 20 minutes to answer the questions, we recommend that you first prepare a Word document with your answers. This will enable you to cut and paste your answers into the online scholarship application.

Give a brief description of your short-term and long-term education and career goals and tell how a scholarship will help you meet these goals and succeed at Hennepin Technical College.

Why did you choose your program of study?

Briefly list any past or present involvement in college or community organizations and activities (volunteer work, elected offices, and/or any other scholarship or honors you have received).

Briefly describe your financial need and any special circumstances, hardships or obstacles that you feel may warrant special consideration.

Are you currently employed and is your employment related to your field of study?

Describe the values you feel are important for a good employee to possess.

Describe any other factors you consider relevant to your application.
