Architectural Drafting
| Architectural Drafting and Design Technicians prepare drawings by hand and with computer aided design (CAD) technology from rough sketches and specifications. A variety of other duties may be performed depending on the specialty of the employer and the nature of the position. The duties might consist of preparing construction drawings, researching materials, preparing material lists for bid, preparing shop drawings, estimating construction costs and verifying construction compliance. |
