Residential Building Technology (Carpentry)
| Using skill and craftsmanship, carpenters construct, install, erect and repair structures to comply with all existing codes. They read blueprints, sketches, and specifications for information pertaining to dimensions, types of materials required, and standards of work. They work with a variety of hand tools, power tools, and equipment. A carpenter is skilled in framing, forming, remodeling, and interior finishing of residential and commercial buildings. |
