Machine Tool Technology

Individuals skilled in any of the many areas of machining are able to use the proper tools and equipment to follow specifications in creating products. Skills and craftsmanship in the machine trades result in precision work (parts or metal forms/molds) using various machines. Machinists make calculations, set-up equipment and machine material to meet close tolerances. Machinists perform many operations with increasing proficiency and skills as they assume positions of responsibility. Die and mold makers have a very high skill and precision level. |
