Skills Required

A deep interest in working with your hands to create beautiful wood products. Students that have a good set of basic math skills and spatial skills do well in the program. Cabinetmaking requires a person to be able to move materials and product around in a shop environment. Much of the work done at school and in the cabinetmaking industry require a person to work as a team member.

Tools Required

Safety glasses, pencil and tool kits. Tool Kits will be available at the beginning of August at the Campus Store or at ACME Tools in Plymouth at a reduced cost.
