High salaries for graduates help Hennepin Technical College earn top national rankings
Brooklyn Park, February 24, 2021 – Hennepin Technical College (HTC) is one of the best colleges in the nation for students who want to earn a high salary after graduation, according to the 2021 Best Colleges list from GradReports.
Each year, GradReports ranks colleges and universities based on two factors; graduates’ median salaries one year after graduation and student loan debt. Overall, HTC ranked #43 nationwide for producing graduates who had the best earning potential and lowest debt load.
In addition, the national rankings compared specific associate degree programs. The rankings help prospective students answer the question, “What can I expect to earn if I graduate from a particular college with a particular major?”
Five HTC programs were ranked in the top 25 in the nation: Information Technology (#2), HVAC (#3), Accounting (#4), Culinary Arts (#12), and Automotive Technology (#13).
Based on starting salary data of approximately five million graduates, GradReports rankings are considered the nation’s most comprehensive, data-driven college rankings. The website calculates the national results using data from the U.S. Department of Education.
