HTC Plant Sale takes place in-person May 5, 6 and 7
Brooklyn Park, March 28, 2022 – The annual Plant Sale at Hennepin Technical College (HTC) is welcoming back customers to shop inside five greenhouses on the Brooklyn Park campus.
The in-person Plant Sale takes place May 5, 6 & 7, from 9:00 am-8:00 pm.
Students and faculty are excited to welcome the community back to the sale. As part of the college curriculum, HTC students grow plants from seeds, cuttings, and plugs. Proceeds support scholarships and benefit the HTC Landscape, Horticulture, Greenhouse, and Urban Forestry program.
Whether customers are cultivating acres of vegetables or growing a patio container garden, the HTC plant sale offers a wide variety of plants and flowers to meet their needs.
Customers may select from:
- Over 600 hanging baskets for sun and shade
- Hundreds of varieties of tomatoes, hot and sweet peppers, veggies
- Houseplants, succulents, annuals
- Mother’s Day planters, fairy gardens and herb gardens
- Pollinator-friendly plants and Minnesota native plants
Easy In-Person Purchasing
- Browse the greenhouse and make your purchase in-person
- Cash, checks and major credit cards accepted
- Shop in time for Mother's Day (Mother's Day is Sunday, May 8th)
