MN Commercial Vehicle Inspector Re-Certification
This course provides certified Minnesota Commercial Vehicle Inspectors with the required two year recertification training and test. Designed for those who perform required safety inspections of commercial vehicles. The instructor is certified by the Minnesota State Patrol.
Class Details
This course is designed to re-certify mechanics to perform required safety inspections on commercial vehicles. Your instructor is certified by the Minnesota State Highway Patrol.
All classes meet for one day, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, in room H195 or J130, on the Brooklyn Park Campus.
Who Should Attend
All Minnesota Intrastate carriers who must have trucks 26,001 lbs. GVW inspected, or intrastate carriers who must comply with both criteria in the Federal Regulations and the decal and reporting requirements in Minnesota statutes, or T-Plated vehicles under 57,000 lbs. GVW who must be inspected by a certified mechanic. This course will give you or your mechanics the re-certification that is required every two years to perform these inspections.
Fee
$110 -Includes materials and the MN State Patrol’s renewal fee.
CEUs
0.7 CEUs (7 contact hours)
You may re-certify up to six months after your certification’s expiration date. If your expiration date exceeds six months, you must retake the full certification course.
