StarID is a single username login for D2L, eServices, and other services used by HTC students and employees.
Your HTC Email
Set up your myHennepinTech student email account. This is how HTC will communicate with you. It is also how you are notified of any registration waitlist and any online class communication. Instructions on how to set it up are below.
This is the HTC emergency notification system. In the event of an emergency or school closing, Star Alert transmits emergency notification messages to the subscriber’s cell phone and/or email system. This system uses real-time communications, and has optional enrollment. To sign up for Star Alert, click on the link below.
D2L or Desire to Learn, is a course management system. A D2L course site allows "anytime, anywhere" access to syllabi, readings, multi-media files, electronic dropboxes, online quizzes, communication, grading, student progress reports, etc.
You will have to wait until the day after you register for classes to access D2L.
eServices is your student account which allows HTC students to register for classes, check grades, check financial aid status, make payments and more.
To access eServices, click on eServices Login at the top of any page on the Hennepin Technical College website. To log in, you will enter your Star ID and password.
