Course DescriptionThis course is designed for the practical nursing student preparing to take the NCLEX-PN. The focus is on reviewing nursing knowledge. Content includes a review of the following: body systems in health and disease; health promotion and maintenance from infancy through adulthood, pharmacology, strategies which promote a safe and effective nursing care environment and maintaining psychosocial integrity.
Refer to Course Syllabus for detailed information regarding the requirements and evaluation standards for this course. The Course Syllabus will be distributed the first week of the course.
