With training in the Industrial Building Engineering and Maintenance program (IBEM), you’ll benefit from a multi-discipline education in building and machine maintenance technologies. Learn about various aspects of maintenance, carpentry, heating and cooling practices, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrical and motor control operation, machine-tool processes, welding, CAD operation, and troubleshooting techniques.  If it helps you understand building and machine maintenance, you’ll learn it here. That’s why you’ll be prepared to succeed on the job.

Labs and Classrooms

Our lab areas are very clean and inviting, with modern equipment along with up-to-date hands-on activities for a positive learning experience.  The training activities performed in the labs are focused toward the course topics discussed in lectures.  IBEM students will utilize labs in the following areas: Fluid Power, Welding, Engineering CAD, Machine Tool, Carpentry, and HVAC.

Books and supplies are required. Please see the individual course for supply and book descriptions.
