New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation is required for all students AFTER you complete your placement test or have your testing waived.

If you have applied, been accepted, and taken your placement test (or had them waived), it is time to complete orientation!

Please choose a campus and date from the links below to attend orientation (or complete it online). Space is limited per day. Sign up now!

Students may attend New Student Orientation on either campus, regardless of where you intend to take classes. Bring a copy of the academic plan you received at your post-test advising appointment and a photo ID.

At New Student Orientation, you will:

  • Learn about HTC policies and procedures
  • Setup your my.HennepinTech email
  • Get your Student I.D.
  • Sign up for emergency notifications
  • Register for courses

Starting Summer or Fall 2018 or Spring 2019? You must complete Orientation before you can register for classes.
