Brooklyn Park, MN, April 23, 2026 — Hennepin Technical College is pleased to announce the return of its highly anticipated Annual Landscaping & Horticulture Plant Sale, taking place May 5-7, 2026, at the Brooklyn Park campus. The sale is open to the public daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Hosted by the college’s Landscape and Horticulture programs, the annual event features a vibrant and affordable selection of plants to help the community prepare for spring planting. All plants are grown and maintained by students as part of their hands-on training in greenhouse production, horticulture science, and landscape design.
Visitors will find a wide variety of garden favorites, including colorful annuals, hardy perennials, tomato plants, vegetables, aromatic herbs, flowering containers, hanging baskets, and Mother’s Day classics like geraniums.
“This sale is a wonderful opportunity for the community to support our students while purchasing high-quality plants for their homes and gardens,” said Amy Birdsall, Landscape and Horticulture Faculty. “Every purchase directly supports experiential learning opportunities for our students.”
Proceeds from the Plant Sale benefit student learning experiences, equipment, and program resources within the Landscape and Horticulture programs.
The Plant Sale will be held at the Greenhouse on the Brooklyn Park campus, located at:
9000 Brooklyn Blvd
Brooklyn Park, MN 55445
