English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program leads English language learning students to the college level in reading, writing and oral communication.

After completing the ESOL program, students can start a technical program or college level general education courses without any additional developmental courses.

Students enroll in Reading, Grammar/Writing, and College Communication Skills courses together to complete the ESOL requirements.

ESOL classes are offered Monday through Thursday mornings or evenings at Brooklyn Park and Eden Prairie campuses.

These classes are non-transferable in the Minnesota State system.
