Eden Prairie Campus
Foundation Dinner and Auction Brings in over $115,000
The theme “Tech Trek” set the stage for another successful celebration and fundraising gala. The event provided college supporters an opportunity to help students pursue their dreams. Over 200 guests and volunteers from the college and community helped make the evening a huge success. And most of all, it was an evening for raising money – over $115,000 - to benefit students.
The evening’s program featured Bob and Matt Neff representing MAC Valves. MAC Valves sponsorship, in memory of James A. Neff, has provided major support of the event for a number of years. They spoke about James Neff and how he influenced the success of the company.
Eduard Birkaya, a current student in the Automation Robotics Engineering program, shared how receiving scholarships has made a difference in his life and that of his family. “Things are starting to look much brighter for me and my family, and it is all thanks to your support.”
Over 150 auction items made for lively, competitive bidding. Items provided by college programs and employees were especially popular showing the guests that the event was truly a college-wide effort. Faculty, staff, students, and community volunteers helped make the evening a success.
