In this section, we will learn how to manage SEO Data in Cascade

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is simply the process of making a website easier for search engines to categorize or understand. The broad approach to accomplish this is that a website have as much high quality content (that Google can index) as possible. Let's look at how we can accomplish this both through meta-data related to a page and the page content. 

Meta-data

When editing content in Cascade, you'll notice a 'Metadata' tab in the editing window – this is where all of the meta-data related to the page. Managing this is pretty simple with only a few clarifications.

  • All pages need at least a Title in the Metadata tab, fill out the rest of the content as best you can.
  • The description field should be 150 character maximum in length
  • Keywords should be a comma seperated list
