Brooklyn Park, October 4, 2019 – The Hennepin Technical College Foundation hosted its annual Scholarship Gala on Thursday, October 3, 2019. The event benefits students by providing financial support for scholarships.

Throughout the evening, attendees learned about the students who have earned scholarships and have overcome obstacles to pursue their education.

The gala was also an opportunity to express appreciation for the generosity of donors and their ongoing efforts to support student scholarships. This year’s major sponsors included Luther Automotive, MAC Valves, Hartfiel Automation, and Ultra Machining Company.

The Foundation presented the Carole Carlson Opportunity Award to Ernie Parker, a Foundation board member and former faculty member at HTC. In both roles, Parker has been dedicated to supporting the college for more than four decades.

HTC’s culinary students prepared an elegant dinner for attendees.
