Hennepin Technical College Earns Three Readers’ Choice Awards in 2020

Brooklyn Park, January 30, 2020 – Hennepin Technical College (HTC) is celebrating three new Readers’ Choice awards from Sun Newspapers.

  • “Best Technical College and Vocational School” voted by readers in Brooklyn Center, Edina, Golden Valley, New Hope and Richfield
  • “Best Technical College” voted by readers in Brooklyn Park, Crystal, Excelsior, Hopkins, Plymouth, St. Louis Park, and Robbinsdale
  • “Best Vocational School” voted by readers in Bloomington and Eden Prairie

“These awards are meaningful to us because members of the community have recognized the value that HTC provides. By preparing students for in-demand jobs, we are helping to address the workforce needs of the region,” said Nairobi Abrams, vice president of advancement, HTC. “We look forward to serving our students and our communities in the year ahead.”

The awards were determined after readers of the publication voted for their local favorites in dozens of categories, including educational institutions. HTC also earned several Readers’ Choice awards last year.
