Positions: Student Navigator
Description: The Enrollment Services Student Navigator will work alongside staff to assist students with college tours and recruitment opportunities. The Student Navigator will be expected to learn descriptions about all program areas to provide an accurate depiction of being an HTC student. The Student Navigator will: 1) Lead tours to help future students identify a potential program match 2) Deliver presentations and attend outreach events to provide resources and program information 3) Promote HTC through positive language and promotion of all programs and awards equally 4) Assist with other duties/tasks as assigned This is a great opportunity for a dependable student with a positive attitude, to learn and use professional skills for future careers upon graduation from Hennepin Technical College.

Positions: Greenhouse, Garden Maintenance, and Landscape
Description: Students will work in either the greenhouse, or on the grounds or with the landscape department. Responsibilities include assisting the instructors and CLA. Students will perform daily greenhouse tasks including plant maintenance and care. Weeding, mulching, tilling, cleaning, in addition to other tasks, will be delegated. For the landscape division, some knowledge on landscape equipment, ability to change oil and tune up equipment is preferred
Qualifications: Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Must maintain an eligible GPA, must attend classes, must have previous greenhouse and/or landscape experience. Must be able to work under instruction and independently. Student is responsible for their own timesheet and must be able to turn in on time. Must be able to operate small equipment such as tillers, weed whips, mowers, or skip steers.

Qualifications: Understanding of and ability to tutor in needed subject areas; must possess good customer service skills and a desire to help others; good attendance for tutoring hours; instructor recommendation.
