Presenter's Greeting

Welcome, my name is igmu sapa hunska, born as michael carney.  I am of Irish and Native American decent, oglala and hochunk.  I am the lead farmer at Little Earth Urban Farm, specializing in plant and natural medicine.  I am also a board member of morningstar movement and partner at native essentials, a cultural movement away from chemical products to a natural way of doing things.  I have been sundancing for nine years with the mother earth sundance and from that have started down the path of healing both myself and the people.  I have found that both science and faith have common ground in the foundation of healing on all levels and we need look no further than our own backyards to begin that journey.  Aho, wopila.  Thank you.

Sponsored by HTC's Student Nurses Who Care Club, Diversity Office, and City of Eden Prairie's Human Rights & Diversity Commission.
