Course DescriptionThis is an introductory course intended to give the student basic knowledge of the Macintosh operating system as well as a general overview of computer components, Microsoft Office Suite for Mac, and (iLife) Apple's Creativity applications. This course will allow the student to explore basic operating system functions, computer components, terminology, file management hierarchy, storage devices, and hardware/software integration. Included in the curriculum is Word's basic editing techniques, tabs, indents and style sheets; PowerPoint's industry standard presentation package and entry level Excel spreadsheet skills. Apple's powerful iLife applications include Photos, iMovie, and GarageBand.
