Course DescriptionThis course is designed for students who need to improve their grammar skills to be more effective writers. Students will study basic grammar, its usage, and end punctuation.

Classify parts of speech
Define the roles parts of speech play in a sentence
Classify basic sentence patterns
Classify phrases and clauses
Identify sentences as simple, compound, or complex
Combine words, phrases, and clauses to create effective sentences
Apply end punctuation and capitalization rules to sentences
