Review Process and Instructions
One completed Syllabus Alignment Review is required annually for each
Concurrent Enrollment course and each Faculty Liaison–High School
Instructor pairing.
The review verifies that the Concurrent Enrollment syllabus aligns with
the HTC Simple Syllabus and maintains equivalency with the approved HTC
course in course identity, learning outcomes, course content, academic
expectations, and required student information.
The Faculty Liaison and High School Instructor will:
-
Review the HTC Simple Syllabus as the foundation for the Concurrent
Enrollment syllabus.
-
Collaboratively review the Concurrent Enrollment syllabus by
incorporating appropriate high school-specific information while
maintaining alignment with the approved HTC course.
-
Review course identity, learning outcomes, course content, student
information, policies, resources, and academic expectations.
-
Discuss and document alignment considerations, revisions,
differences, or follow-up actions needed to support course
equivalency.
-
Complete this Syllabus Alignment Review and upload required evidence
prior to the stated deadline.
The HTC Simple Syllabus and final Concurrent Enrollment syllabus must be
uploaded as part of this Syllabus Alignment Review submission.
All syllabus alignment discussions, required revisions, and follow-up
actions should be completed prior to the start of the high school course
and before the syllabus is distributed to students.
