Ready to tell powerful stories through video? Join our Video Production program and build the creative and technical skills needed to work in film, digital media, marketing, and content creation.
This program prepares you to manage the full video production process, from scriptwriting and planning to filming, lighting, and digital non-linear editing. You’ll gain hands-on experience using industry-standard cameras, lighting, audio, and editing software while learning how to analyze client and audience needs. With a strong focus on evolving technologies and professional workflows, you’ll develop the skills employers seek in today’s fast-paced media environments.
Through real-world projects, you’ll create media solutions that combine visual and audio techniques while working independently and as part of a production team. You’ll strengthen written communication skills, understand legal and ethical standards, and graduate prepared to collaborate, problem-solve, and adapt to new tools and technologies.

Skills Required
Students must demonstrate computer proficiency by passing the Macintosh or Windows evaluation before enrolling in program technical courses.

A Video Production Specialist has the potential for finding employment in the following areas: video production and animation houses, multimedia, CD and web development companies, law firms, training departments in large and mid-size corporations, hospitals, television broadcast and cable stations. Related positions can also be found in sales as account executives for production companies or equipment rental suppliers/vendors.
