Helping Pay for College

male and female Hennepin Tech students

The Hennepin Technical College Foundation offers a variety of resources to assist you with paying for your education. These resources (grants and scholarships) are available to both new and returning students and, unlike loans, do not need to be paid back.

Funded through contributions from alumni, faculty and staff, community members, and partner organizations, the Hennepin Technical College Foundation awarded grants and scholarship totaling more than $350,000 during the 2021/2022 academic year including Workforce Development Scholarships, made possible by the Minnesota State Legislature.

We have made it simple – with one online application for both new and returning students for all scholarships available through the Hennepin Technical College Foundation. With one online application, students are automatically considered for all scholarships for which they meet eligibility criteria.

Applications for Fall Semester are open through June 30th
