I know that students balance many responsibilities along with attending college. To be a successful college student it is important to utilize the resources provided. The services are implemented by a talented group of student affairs professionals who are dedicated to your success. Students have many rights and responsibilities. It is important that you understand them. Each member of our campus community is responsible for behaving with respect, creating and supporting a learning environment, and promoting a safe and welcoming community. I encourage you to become involved in your campus community. Learning takes place inside and outside of the classroom and your involvement in both can help you build essential skills to prepare you for your career.

Hennepin Tech students represent a wide array of backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs. Getting to know others will provide you with a rich experience to learn more about others and yourself and prepare you to work in our diverse world.

I am glad you chose Hennepin Technical College. I believe in you and your ability to reach your goals!

Sincerely,

Jessica Lauritsen
