Emergency Grants

Hennepin Tech Crisis Grant

Hennepin Technical College has assistance available for students facing unexpected financial emergencies during the academic year. The crisis grants were created to help students stay in college and achieve their educational goals. Funds are dispersed on a first come, first served basis to eligible students while funds last.

Emergency Student Aid

UNCF Emergency Student Aid (ESA) helps students stay in college and complete their degrees by offering financial assistance to those that qualify.

Emergency Assistance

CEAP (Community Emergency Assistance Program)

CEAP (Community Emergency Assistance Programs) was founded in 1970 as a food shelf responding to the growing need for human services in Brooklyn Center and Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.

Hennepin County Emergency Programs

When Hennepin County residents are in a financial crisis that poses a direct threat to their physical health or safety, the county may be able to help by providing short-term aid.

United Way 211

Call 211 or web search for referrals on almost any topic. When using the website, enter the topic you are interested in or scroll down the list of topics and enter your county. You will be given a list of agencies in your area who deal with your topic of interest. A great "one stop shopping" site.
