Brooklyn Park, May 2, 2023 – Hennepin Technical College (Hennepin Tech) is now enrolling students for fall semester in the Automation Robotics Engineering Technology program on the Brooklyn Park campus.

Previously, the program had only been available in Eden Prairie. Throughout its history, graduates have launched careers with premier employers in a variety of industries; semi-conductors, medical devices, aerospace, packaging and more.

Due to exceptionally strong demand in the job market, Hennepin Tech is offering robotics on both of its campus locations. No experience is needed for students who are enrolling. Instructors lead students through the cirriculum that allows students to build needed skills and gain confidence.

Students enjoy robotics because it offers hands-on learning opportunities. Apprenticeships are available as well. For those who qualify, apprenticeships allow students to attend Hennepin Tech tuition-free and they are guaranteed a job upon successful completion of the program.

Recently, CCX-Media provided an overview of plans to expand robotics to Brooklyn Park. Watch the report on CCX Media.
