Silver and bronze medals for students at national SkillsUSA

SkillsUSA in Atlanta

Brooklyn Park, June 27, 2023 – Two Hennepin Technical College students earned medals at the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference in Atlanta. Both students advanced to the national competition after earning gold medals at the state level. Tony Truong took Silver in the EMS competition. Jay Nguyen took Bronze in an IT competition called Internetworking.

SkillsUSA is a national organization. During state and national competitions, career and technical education students compete in more than 100 different trade, technical and leadership categories.
