The Hennepin Technical College Foundation, Inc. (The Foundation) plays an essential role in the growth of the College. The Foundation was incorporated on October 12, 1998, and received its 501(c)3 status in 1999. While the Foundation is a separate entity from the college, its sole purpose is to support and advance the work of the college in providing excellence in technical education.

There are many ways to find grant opportunities. Here are some of the most common ways of identifying a prospective grant.

• You may submit a grant search request by filling out a Grant Concept Development Form. The department will then contact you and conduct a grant search based on the criteria that you have identified in your request and following-up discussion (e.g. target population served, proposed activities, budget).
