Hennepin Technical College president featured in Community College Journal

Brooklyn Park, Aug. 26, 2020 – A national publication, Community College Journal, published a feature article about two year colleges that are launching innovative programs to enhance diversity, equity and inclusion. Dr. Merrill Irving, president of Hennepin Technical College (HTC) was interviewed for the publication and he appears on the cover of the magazine.
President Irving describes how HTC is enhancing efforts to use data to better support the academic success of students of color. In addition, he details the improvements in diversity, equity, inclusion training for faculty and staff.
