Leadership Development

Leadership skills are one of the top qualities employers are looking for. Advance your leadership skills for your education, career, and life.

This series of workshops will help you gain leadership and career skills that will help you succeed. All sessions are open to all students, come to one or come to all of them.

Tyler Rossmann is a Performance Coach at The Power House at Highland. An active explorer and athlete all his life, Tyler discovered his passion for health and fitness while going through recovery for an eating disorder. Through treatment, he found new, healthier ways to view food, exercise, and the relationship of the two to one's body. Through coaching, he finds fulfillment in helping others find the confidence within them to achieve any goal they set. Tyler brings a positive energy to each class he's with and is always ready to take on a challenging workout. When he is not coaching or training, Tyler enjoys adventuring to new cities and places, spending time with family, and making films.

Come hear Tyler share his stories of developing positive self-care strategies. He will address the importance of general health, fitness, wellness, and mindset, and how these are interconnected in each of our own lifestyles. Movement is a fundamental to our day-to-day lives, and Tyler will also discuss the Functional Movement Screen, one of the most impactful tests of addressing mobility and stability strengths and weaknesses in one's body. Lastly, Tyler will go over simple at-work or at-home movements and exercises that can positively impact general performance in one's day-to-day activities.
